Heather Klimes-Bailey
Owner and lead facilitator at Evermore Pastures
Welcome, I’m so glad you’re here. Evermore Pastures is my dream come true. I was born and raised on Vancouver Island and horses have been part of my life since I was eight years old. Early on, it became apparent that caring for and creating a connection with horses was more meaningful to me than competitions and winning ribbons. I have always been drawn to the silent wisdom that horses have to offer.
After many years of working around the world with children, adults, seniors, and individuals with developmental disabilities, I realized that my true calling was to combine my compassionate nature with a nature-based, animal-assisted, and equine-facilitated approach to helping others.
Evermore Pastures became a reality in 2021 when my husband, two young children and I, became caretakers of this beautiful piece of land in the Comox Valley. It was also during this time that I experienced an awakening that led me down a path of exploring past trauma, waking up to reality, and seeing the world through different eyes. This enlightenment has profoundly shaped the way I approach life and my work with horses and people. It reinforced my belief in the healing power of nature and the wisdom that animals can impart. This journey of self-discovery, spirituality, and healing has given me a deeper understanding of the human experience and the importance of slowing down, living consciously, being connected, and finding our authenticity.
